In this video, I am showing you how to make these crochet mesh sleeves/bolero/shrug top. These sleeves only use the double crochet stitch, chain stitch, V-stitch, soo it’s beginner friendly.

The Inspiration & Design

After crocheting many baby dresses and baby booties, and a number of sweaters and cardigans, I enjoyed discovering a new model. It is currently very popular on TikTok – the short sleeve tops. Because my model is worked top down, it is very easy to adjust for larger sizes and you can easily make it longer for a sweater model.

The further my crochet top progressed, the more curious I became if it would be appreciated. Fortunately, my daughter thought it was really cool, so I wrote out the pattern in addition to making the YouTube video. Here is the link to the pattern: HC Magic 1905 Rabbit Pilot
