Paleokerisio NV (50cl), Glinavos, Iaonnina

VinificationA semi-sparkling/semi-dry orange wine made in a traditional way from a blend of a predominantly white variety with a small amount from a red variety, both endemic to this region. Made from the local, indigenous grape Debina with a splash of Vlahiko, it spends 12 days macerating on its skins before it’s bottled in the middle of fermentation resulting in a funky, demi-sec, orange, lightly sparkling wine that defies categorization.
